Christmas came early for the 4,000 women drawn from all locations of his Turbo constituency. Ruto encouraged the women to make proper use of the project by taking good care of the chicks as a source of income. The project was organised by Deputy President William Ruto’s spouse Rachel Ruto, in her endeavour to empower women in her locality. The gathering was also also attended by Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago, and former Busia Gubernatorial candidate Paul Otuoma, among others.

This is DP ruto Christmas Message:

Christmas is a time to visit and share with family, friends, colleagues, neighbours and the less privileged. It is a season of giving, cheer and prayer. Let’s use this period to reconnect and strengthen the bonds of friendship, family and nationhood. We remember the birth of our saviour and go before His presence in supplication. We celebrate the gift of life, God’s providence, faithfulness and favour. May this time inspire the good in and around us now and into the New Year. We pray for His blessings upon us all the days of our lives. Merry Christmas and happy holidays.
