DP Ruto’s chopper lands in Kapenguria few hours after a military chopper carrying Matiang’i aborted trip over bad weather


Deputy President William Ruto has just landed in Kapenguria to visit victims of the deadly landslides that hit parts of West Pokot.

The Deputy President landed in his chopper just a few hours after a military chopper carrying Interior CS Fred Matiang’i and Devolution CS Eugene Wamalwa aborted its trip citing bad weather.

The Deputy President is visiting Kapenguria County Referral Hospital to check and condole with victims of the catastrophic mudslides that left 52 dead and scores injured.
