A man from Eldoret yesterday shared with the press claims that he received a ‘bounced cheque’ from Uasin Gishu gubernatorial aspirant Kiprop Bundotich, aka Buzeki.
Emmanuel Barkutwo, a network solutions administrator at Kemlink Capitals, said that he did a print job for Buzeki but that the latter sent him a cheque, which eventually bounced.
In a story carried by a shallow website, Barkutwo said the firm was contracted to print assorted campaign materials such as posters, brochures, and other campaign materials.
Barkutwo, upon advice from Buzeki’s opponents, quickly rushed to file a report with the Eldoret police station seeking to charge Buzeki over unpaid bills.
However, his claim about the cheque being from Buzeki is FALSE and MALICIOUS.
The cheque he purports was from Buzeki, is actually NOT from the aspirant, but from a company called VALLEY LAMB ENTERPRISES.
The public is informed to be cautious and read stories carefully before taking them as true, especially where the intention is to malign, injure and/or destroy the reputation of another.
