– Uasin Gishu Woman Rep Gladys Shollei has rubbished the BBI report that was launched by Uhuru on Wednesday, November 27.
– The Jubilee lawmaker claimed some of the report’s recommendations were similar to Jubilee’s manifesto which the head of state has failed to implement.
– The former chief registrar of the Judiciary rated the president as a poor performer.
The recently launched Building Bridges Initiative could have paved way for President Uhuru Kenyatta’s impeachment if Kenya was another country, Uasin Gishu Woman Representative Gladys Boss Shollei has claimed.
The Jubilee lawmaker said some of the recommendations made by the highly anticipated report were similar to those in the party’s manifesto which the head of state has failed to implement.
The former chief registrar of the Judiciary was speaking in the morning of Thursday, November 28.
“If I will have to read the BBI report and compare it with the Jubilee manifesto, basically is it saying he (Uhuru) has failed. If anybody was to take this document to any other country, the president could have been impeached,” the TangaTanga faction allied MP said.
The legislator rated the president as a poor performer who had to form a 14-member task-force to deal with his shortcomings.
“The president has commissioned a report which says his government has failed. The BBI report has appraised and given him a failure rate,” she added.
