Rapper Khaligraph, who featured Sagini in the hit song “Testimony” confirmed Monday night that Sagini succumbed to an illness.
Taking to his Instagram page, Khaligraph Jones said: “It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing away of one of Kenya’s greatest and promising talent Eliud Sagini better known to many as Sagini. Sagini left us this evening of Monday the 17th of December 2018 after suffering a short illness. He was pronounced dead after arriving at the hospital. Your prayers and support will be highly appreciated in this moment of grief.”
Sagini was signed under Khaligraph Jones’ Record Label – BluInk Corp.
He also featured as a background vocalist on a number of hit songs, including Khaligraph Jones’ “The Khali Cartel”.
In April this year, the musician dropped his first single called “Ki2 Ingine”.
Sagini’s death has come as a shocker to many, who watched him being interviewed on KTN’s ” Strai8 up Live” last Saturday.
